The WindMaster® 5012SS takes up only 1-cubic foot of storage space and is designed for use with roll-up signs.

Simply slide the vertical cross brace into the bracket channel and secure the sign face by turning the screw handle until the cross-brace fits tightly against the pressure plate.

The 5012SS features a single spring base design and adjustable, telescoping legs with kick-release buttons.

Materials: Aircraft aluminum uprights and steel legs. Rubber caps on legs for extra traction. Steel base and springs specially coated to withstand 500 hours of salt spray.

NOTE: This stand is MASH passed for roll-up signs BUT is not MASH passed for use with rigid signs. MASH passed stands for use with rigid signs are available.
About Sign Stands
All portable sign stands used in temporary traffic control areas MUST be MASH passed. Refer to the MUTCD and AASHTO/FHWA Joint Implementation Agreement for more information.

The minimum of above grade clearance for sign stands is 12” above the traveled roadway.

Sign stands that do not meet the mounting heights of 5ft or 7ft should not be used for a duration of more than 3 days and are recommended for “short term” or “daylight operations”.

Ground mounted sign supports are ideal for projects lasting more than 3 consecutive days.
