- To stay in compliance with the MUTCD requirements for crashworthy sign supports in temporary traffic control, we recommend using Fluorescent Pink Reflective Roll-Up Signs in conjunction with NCHRP-350 approved Sign Stands (see Related Products).

The MDI Compact Sign is permanently mounted to a foldable crossbracing, which allows the sign to fold down and be stored as one unit with the sign stand. The crossbracing is equipped with a Single Trigger Release Mechanism for easy deployment and take down with just the push of a button. As part of the MDI Compact Sign System, the sign can be stored right in the stand, ready for immediate use.

- Roll-Up signs MUST be used on crashworthy sign stands in temporary traffic control zones.
