Retroreflectivity Management as presented by the MUTCD requires all agencies to maintain traffic signs to a minimum level of retroreflectivity. The various MUTCD Retroreflectivity Management maintenance methods provide agencies with options that will improve nighttime sign visibility: Nighttime Visual Inspection, Measured Sign Retroreflectivity, Expected Sign Life Decals, Blanket Replacement or Control Signs.
