The 2009 R7-107a has been reassigned to R7-107b in the 2023 MUTCD 11th Edition. The R7-107a is a NEW legend in the 2023 MUTCD 11th Edition. Section 2B.53 p. 126 | Figure 2B-25 p. 124

The R7-107a and R7-107b legends can be used as alternate designs for the R7-107 sign. Alternate designs may include, on a single sign, a transit logo, an approved bus symbol, a parking prohibition, the words BUS STOP, and an arrow. The reverse side of the R7-107 series signs may display bus routing information for pedestrians.
