The 2009 MUTCD legend that is 54x18 size sign for roadway types: Multi-Lane, Expressways and Oversized for Enhanced Conspicuity has been discontinued. Install by 1/18/2026. Replace existing signs with a 2023 MUTCD legend at end of sign life.

The Updated 2023 MUTCD legend is 48x18 size sign is for Multi-Lane Roads, Freeways and Expressways and the 72x24 size sign is Oversized for Enhanced Conspicuity.
