The R8 Series includes parking, stopping, and track-related restrictions at or near railroad and light rail grade crossings. These signs regulate driver behavior to prevent vehicles from stopping on tracks, ensure safe clearance, and manage emergency or temporary conditions. More information in the MUTCD, Part 8.
